Captain Tabach discussed the historical role of Jews in the Soviet victory over Germany, and moderated a discussion with Soviet-Jewish veterans.

B’nai Mitzva is a program for Bar/Bat Mitzvah children and their families held monthly at the Brownstone. In attendance are the bar mitzva students, their siblings and parents.

The first “Iraqi Jews in NY Young Professional Gathering”, organized by Noam Weinblatt. Young Iraqi Jews from NY and Brooklyn came together to network and meet others of similar background.
JACADEMY WITH ARI SCHONBRUN
JAcademy students visited The Brownstone to hear Ari Schonbrun, a 9/11 WTC survivor. JAcademy is the Jewish Gap Year Program for aspiring professionals. This one-year program includes nine months of Jewish Learning, professional development courses and training, three professional internships and four countries.

The Brownstone hosted Don Ghermezian, the CEO of Triple Five Group. Mr. Ghermezian’s gave a captivating and inspirational talk with personal and professional advice. Rabbi Becher gave a presentation on leadership.
